What we collect
- The questions you ask and the answers we give.
- Your email address, if you leave it.
- A random identifier in a cookie, used to count your free questions and keep your conversations.
- The campaign tags of the link that brought you here.
We don't ask for your name and our application logs don't store your IP address.
Why
To answer your questions, keep your conversations, apply the free limits, improve the answers and, if you left your email, write to you about early access.
Who processes it
Anthropic generates answers from your question; Voyage AI turns your question into a search query; Hetzner hosts the service in Finland; Cloudflare and Google handle our mailbox. We don't sell your data and don't use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.
How long
Questions and answers are kept for up to 12 months. Your email is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Your choices
To unsubscribe, reply "stop" to any email. To get or delete your data, write to hello@askbeenthere.com — we do it within 7 days.
